Techtorium’s Tech SpeedMeet Event for Future IT Professionals

Every career starts with a single opportunity — one meeting, one conversation, one yes. Tech SpeedMeet exists to create those moments. It’s where our graduates meet the people who can open doors, share industry insights, and help shape their future in tech.

At the heart of the event are a series of speed interviews—short, timed conversations between students and industry professionals. These sessions give employers the chance to identify emerging talent, while students get to practise presenting themselves professionally, gain insight into the hiring process, and understand the current expectations of IT roles. It’s a low-pressure, high-impact environment that benefits everyone involved.

In addition to potential employers such as New Era IT, Rush Digital, Halter and Securecom, we will also welcome our alumni back to campus. This is a great opportunity for them to reconnect with the Techtorium community, share their personal career journeys, and provide mentorship to current students. Many alumni now working in the industry are also in positions to recruit, making this event a valuable channel for exploring employment opportunities through alumni networks.

Ultimately, this event is about building bridges — between education and employment, graduates and industry, and students and alumni.
