The aim of the course is to produce graduates who are capable of implementing and supporting cloud and server computing environments. This course has a high-level ICT technical base with appropriate security content and provides students with the opportunity to specialise in several areas, including cloud, voice, wireless, network infrastructure and sustainability. Graduates who have attained a Techtorium in Cloud Management in 7 Diploma will have sufficient Cloud and Server Integration skills to be employed in an entry-level role.
This course normally requires you to have completed the New Zealand Diploma in Information Technology Technical Support (ITTS) Level 5 and the New Zealand Diploma in Systems Administration Level 6 to be eligible for this course. Previous work or study experience may be considered.
A cloud services engineer is responsible for the planning, provisioning, testing, administration, troubleshooting and documentation of cloud-based systems.
Cloud Engineers have the willingness and the capability to learn. You are the kind of person who is excited about new technology and envisions the future of technology. You will have good interpersonal communication and listening skills with the ability to challenge ideas.
The Level 7 Diploma in Cloud Management is designed to help our learners in performing the functional roles around designing and implementing server infrastructure, configuring and deploying private cloud infrastructures and implementing advanced solutions of Microsoft Exchange Server. In addition, students are preparing for Project Management and Operational Management.
