We love our Open Days and we know you do too.  So, even though we are unable to run our scheduled Open Day at our campus, there’s nothing stopping us from running Techtorium’s very first Digital Open Day on Thursday 16th April.  Let’s get this show online!

Real Time Presentations – You’ll hear from our Secondary School Pathways Managers about the amazing careers in IT they can help you plan your way into as well as two of our fantastic Trainers from Computer Engineering and Software Development .

Live Chat – Throughout the event our Pathways Team will be available online to live chat and answer any questions or queries you may have.

The Open Days are a excellent opportunity to meet our trainers who can un-jumble the jargon and offer you the best advice regarding how you can start your career as a Software Developer or a Computer Engineer.

Meet the presenters 

Victoria

Victoria

Victoria is passionate for technology and education, making her the amazing on the job. A self proclaimed technophile with over 15+ years in education in New Zealand and overseas, Victoria uses her bubbly and energetic personality to help secondary school students make informed decisons about their pathway into IT study.
Margaret

Margaret

Margaret  has well over a decade of tertiary education experience in engaging with students and academic staff. Margaret is enthusiastic and passionate about connecting with secondary school students and staff to support and encourage study towards computer software and computer engineering skills and knowledge based in the Information Technology industry.

Masoud

Masoud

Part of the Techorium team since 2018, Masoud brings a wealth of knowledge to his post as Software Development Trainer. With a Doctorate in Computer Science and experience instructing in universities and other educational institutions, we are lucky to have him on board. Masoud does an amazing job both teaching the students and instilling them with a passion for further learning like his own.

Sam

Sam

Level 5 Computer Engineering trainer Sam has a passion for teaching and preparing students to enter the industry. His engaging manner and easy rapport with students make for a very positive learning environment. Sam has 13 years teaching experience, is a Microsoft Certified Trainer and holds National Certificates in Adult Education.

basic understanding of the technologies and Softwares
used in our full time Computer Engineering course.

DIGITAL LITERACY - IT 101

This course is designed to introduce you to the world of
Information Technology. You will acquire a basic knowledge
of IT and develop an understanding of how computers work.

CODE - introduction to Programming

Programming | Games | Artificial Intelligence

Our CODE programs are 3 day course that will give you a
basic understanding of the technologies and softwares used
in our full time Software Development course.

As part of our plan to create a clear pathways from secondary
