Techtorium NZIIT are inviting you to attend the November 2018 Open Day at our campus in Newmarket, Auckland. If you are a School Leaver, Career Changer, or simply want to know what study options are available to you (and what jobs are available in the New Zealand ICT sector), the November 3rd Open Day is the perfect opportunity for you to make sense of what career path is right for you. We’ll un-jumble the jargon and offer you the best advice regarding how you can start your career as a Software Developer or a Computer Engineer.

Fees-Free-Techtorium

Techtorium NZIIT is offering free fees (Fees Free) to domestic students in their first year of study in 2018, in accordance with government policy.

 

All New Zealanders who have completed less than half a full-time year of post-school education or training will be eligible to study ‘FEES-FREE‘ starting this year. To find out the eligibility criteria and more information please visit www.feesfree.govt.nz

 

This offer is subject to funding confirmation from the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) and any other terms or conditions imposed by government authorities. Techtorium

The Scholarship was established in 2009 and is funded by Techtorium New Zealand Institute of Information Technology Limited.

 

The main purpose of the Scholarship is to recognise and reward a student who meets the selection requirements.

 

We offer 4 categories of scholarships:

  • The Techtorium Maori Scholarship
  • The Techtorium Pasifika Scholarship
  • The Techtorium Female Scholarship
  • The Techtorium Low Decile 1 to 5 scholarship

Techtorium courses

Following this one year New Zealand diploma course you will be able to:

  • Assemble, repair & manage network devices
  • Implement Cyber Security fundamentals
  • Troubleshoot networks, configure routers, Wi-Fi and firewalls
  • Apply fundamental customer service skills
  • Use ticketing systems and reporting for Helpdesk Support
  • Automate networks
  • Develop scripts and applications with PowerShell and Visual Studio
  • Implement ITIL based service management
  • Configure virtual networks with Hyper-V

Following this one year New Zealand diploma course you will be able to:

  • Learn to code in C# using Visual Studio and deploy simple working applications.
  • Design and develop for the web using Bootstrap framework including HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript
  • Develop user-friendly applications using UI and UX concepts
  • Implement Business Process and
  • Data Management using SQL
  • Write technical documentation for professional environments
  • Implement Project Management using Software Development Life Cycle
  • Install, configure and troubleshoot common computer problems
