The level 5 New Zealand Diploma in IT Technical support is designed to help learners gain the working knowledge and basic understanding of IT Systems and networking concepts, this course is perfect for anyone wanting to start in an entry-level IT role. Graduates will have an awareness of the IT environment, appreciate the needs of users, and will be able to provide IT technical support.
IT support professionals help people, colleague, clients and customers, who use computer software and hardware and will ensure networks and website are working well. They often work in teams with other IT professionals, such as Systems Engineers, Network Analysts, and Database Administrators. They can progress into more senior technical roles.
I really like the environment, I really like the teachers. It’s a tight environment between students – you get to know each other on a personal level and everyone sort of knows everyone.
