Here at Techtorium NZIIT, we offer a wide range of IT Courses across both the Computer Engineering and Computer Programming pathways. Our IT Courses are highly regarded by a number of international IT companies that we can proudly call our employment partners. Our IT Courses are robust and offer students a chance to easily transition from secondary school, right through to an entry-level role in the ICT industry. Our four IT Courses have been created in collaboration with the NZQA and aim to provide the New Zealand ICT industry with skilled and motivated graduates.

New Zealand Diploma in Information Technology Technical Support (Level 5)

Following this one year New Zealand diploma course you will be able to:

  • Select, install and configure IT hardware and systems software to meet organisational requirements,
  • Apply a broad operational knowledge of networking, and associated services and technologies to meet typical organisational requirements,
  • Learn about Cyber Security and how to configure a safe network environment,
  • Configure and administer systems and applications to meet typical organisational IT support requirements,
  • Demonstrate an operational knowledge and understanding of IT service management to meet typical organisational customer service requirements.

New Zealand Diploma in Systems Administration (Level 6)

Following this one year New Zealand diploma course you will be able to:

  • Implement a range of technologies for systems and network services to meet business requirements,
  • Plan and implement automated system and application software deployment to support efficient organisational operations,
  • Analyse a range of options and implement a solution to meet organisations data storage requirements,
  • Implement a server-based virtualisation infrastructure to support business requirements using Windows Servers 2016,
  • Manage and administer a messaging and collaboration service,
  • Write scripts to automate standard system procedures.

Diploma in Cloud management (Level 7)

This NZQA Level 7 Diploma Course is a highly specialised course that aims to qualify students in Cloud & Server Infrastructure. As part of this one year Diploma Course, students will be introduced to:

  • the enterprise server and storage environment: Public Cloud, Private Cloud and Hybrid Cloud,
  • learn to manage integrated IT environments using server and messaging tools, such as Office 365, Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Azure, to create scenarios that reflect real industry circumstances.
  • students will also be following industry established processes and procedures to support their classroom time.

New Zealand Diploma in Software Development (Level 6)
